Statement from the Speaker: Brielle Bryant-Erales
Hey, I’m Brielle! I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and I currently live in Boston, MA. Though this workshop will show you skills applicable to all walks of life, I am a financial coach who works to improve the relationship women have with their money and give them hope that they may become debt-free for those who are struggling with debt and are unsure of how to handle their finances.
In 2014, I had my "never again" moment in my freshman year of college. After an unexpected life event made me realize how financially ill-equipped I was, I began to panic. I had about 20 cents to my name, lived over 3,000 miles away from my family, and my phone bill was cut off. I’ve never felt so financially vulnerable and afraid. Little did I know, this experience was a blessing in disguise and sparked a fire in me. Now, I coach women who might have experienced similar situations and lead them in the right direction.
I know that talking about finances is a touchy subject, but I also know how financial literacy can change the trajectory of people's lives, so it's extremely helpful to be open about it.To fast forward...By the grace of God, in October 2021, I was able to pay off the rest of my debt in about 18 months, which was $34,000, and I became debt free!
With my experience and knowledge, I am able to help women create healthy financial habits and get them to think about creating generational wealth. I am also here to help women achieve their goals, avoid financial pitfalls, and create a path to financial freedom.
