Either You’re Networking or You're NOT Working

Networking is a pivotal component of career success and is often one of the most undervalued and overlooked takeaways from the collegiate experience. Networking can be beneficial when navigating not only the academic experience but can also be helpful when preparing students for career transitions and professional success. Within this session, we will explore the world of networking as well as the do’s and don’ts and we will share strategies that can help students to more effectively connect with employers while navigating their collegiate success.

The main objectives for this session are:

- Discuss strategies that students can begin implementing now to build their networks
- Share strategies that will enhance the communication process within future work environments that will contribute to more effective relationships
