If you're a student or an alumni of any HBCU, you won't want to miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to win $1 million. Superstars Michael B. Jordan and tennis legend Serena Williams have teamed up to inspire students and alumni of HBCUs to launch and grow their own businesses.

The two icons are hosting a venture capitalist competition with a prize pool of $1 million, partnering up with MaC Venture Capital and Serena Ventures. They'll award the winners during the Invesco QQQ Legacy Classic Basketball Showcase on December 18, 2021, at halftime. If you don't plan on participating in the competition, you can watch the showcase from home on TNT. 

If you want to join the competition, you'll have to submit a unique business proposal and pitch your startup in front of successful entrepreneurs and investors. But don't let this frighten you. If you're passionate about business and entrepreneurship and want a chance to change your life overnight, make sure you get in on the action.

This competition will be the perfect place for you to demonstrate your savvy business skills and creativity. Even if you don't win the prize pool, you could still make invaluable connections, earn an HBCU scholarship, or even pique the interest of a potential investor. 

All in all, the goal of the competition is to encourage HBCU contestants to become entrepreneurs, build a legacy, and give light to the HBCU community. Some of the proceeds of the showcase will be donated to several organizations that focus on advancing HBCUs. The community is more than thankful for Michael and Serena for their generosity.
