Business conferences are an excellent way for professionals from various industries to network, gain advice, and improve their public speaking and communication skills.

One such gathering is the third annual Learn Leverage Launch Live business conference (formerly known as the Black Entrepreneur Homecoming Experience), set to be held from September 8th - 10th, 2023, in Washington, D.C.

During this event, Black HBCU business grads can connect with other like-minded HBCU graduates, Black entrepreneurs, and supporters to both celebrate their successes, learn how to take their businesses to the next level as well as make valuable connections.

Learn Leverage Launch Live is created and hosted by Jalynn Jones, the founder of Black Pretty and Paid University and an HBCU graduate from Fayetteville State University. She states on the intention of the event, “... Learn Leverage Launch Live is a transformational conference for 100 Black-owned businesses focused on sales, marketing, business growth, funding resources, social media strategy, passive income investments, and tax strategy” (BlackNews.com).

Jones became inspired by the entrepreneurial experience she had at her alma mater. “My team and I built the theme for this conference around two essential pillars taught at HBCUs – economic redistribution and African American business sustainability,” Jones told BlackNews.com.

This year’s mantra for the event is THE CULTURE, which encourages and challenges attendees to Learn, Leverage and Launch.
