These HBCU Alum Are Supporting Golf Programs at HBCUs With 4Tee Acres
4Tee Acres is a membership based organization with the mission of increasing financial literacy, STEM and golf programming at HBCUs.
While there are currently around 31 HBCUs with golf programs, 4Tee Acres aims to install putting greens at 50 HBCUs. To increase access to golfing resources, 4Tee Acres will provide student members with golf clubs, clinics and clothes. They will host a national golf tournament and create a golfing fashion line that inspires pride and confidence.
The founders also intend to offer financial literacy and STEM programming and scholarships for HBCU students.
Angel Rich-Jones, founder of the Wealth Factory, social impact organization Black Tech Matters and apps Credit Stacker and CreditRich, is excited about how 4Tee Acres will expand opportunities for HBCU students:
"4Tee Acres is devoted to promoting equity in golf from students to professionals and we look forward to working together to expand diversity across the industry."
