Why Can’t I Reach You?

If you want to frustrate a hiring manager – have multiple email addresses and phone numbers on your resume!

Trust me – one of each is enough and you should be easily accessible by both.

If you are job searching you must be reading your emails and/or checking voicemail at least twice everyday. Chances are recruiters will leave messages on one number and send an email to one account! Usually the first one listed!

Many recruiters will expect a follow-up from a job seeker within 24 hours. If they don’t hear from you; they will move on! If they don’t get a call back, it is safe to assume –they will move on without you and your file gets moved to the bottom of the pile.

Please stay connected if you are serious about a job search! You don’t want someone walking away with your job, just because they answered the phone!
