Build your Resume with an Internship this Fall!

It is not too late to land an internship this fall.

The HBCU Career Center job board now lists internship announcements!
HBCU college students who do not participate in at least one meaningful internship experience before graduation are way less competitive in the job search.

The most competitive HBCU college students and graduates actually have two or more internship experiences by graduation.

When is the best time to search for an internship? Now.

You will have plenty of time during the rest of the summer to work on resumes, cover letters and applications.

Traditionally the fall semester is the busiest application period and many firms with sought after summer internships have deadlines from November through to mid February.

However, if you are looking for internships –don’t just think summer! Many companies offer internships all year and now is still a great time to find an internship for this fall.
