One of the best places to start a job search is by using lists of best companies.  These 25 Lists of Best or Top Employers was developed to address a wide variety of industries and occupations.
As with all the lists that The HBCU Career Center compiles, here are some tips to use this list:
  • The list is in random order to encourage you to look at ALL of them
  •  Don’t make assumptions before you check out a list
  •  Don’t rule out a list because you assume you know what type of candidates the employers want
  • Look at the criteria the organization uses to compile the list.  Are those criteria important to you?
  • Bookmark these pages for updates on the list
  • Check out the career or job opportunities on the company website.  What interests you?
  • You can’t research them all at one time.  Bookmark the page and come back to this list of lists often.
